Evening Seminar Weeks 1 & 2 - The German Ideology
A close reading of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engel's The German Ideology, with a focus on the materialist conception of history, the role of ideology in reproduction, and the production of revolutionary practice. Supplementary texts will include works by Herbert Marcuse and Louis Althusser.
